Terms & Conditions

1. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are based on the information provided at the time of quoting.

  • Final pricing may change if measurements, access, materials, or job details differ on-site.

  • Any additional work required will be discussed and approved before proceeding.

  • Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

2. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Larger jobs may require a deposit prior to work commencing.

  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of quoting.

3. Installations

  • All installations are completed to a professional standard using appropriate tools and equipment.

  • Clients must ensure the area is ready for installation (clear access, cabinets level, appliances removed where needed).

  • L.M Stone is not responsible for issues caused by uneven or unprepared cabinetry, walls, or flooring.

4. Repairs & Modifications

  • Stone repairs aim to restore the affected area as close to original as possible.

  • Due to variations in colour, texture, age, and lighting, perfect colour or pattern matching cannot be guaranteed.

  • Modification work (cutouts, enlargements, trimming, etc.) may expose existing imperfections or colour differences in the stone — this is normal and not considered a defect.

5. Natural Stone Disclaimer

For natural stone surfaces:

  • Variations in colour, pattern, veining and texture are normal and not considered faults.

  • Stone may react differently during cutting, polishing or repair due to its natural composition.

6. Engineered Stone Disclaimer

For engineered stone:

  • Some brands and older products may respond differently to heat or cutting.

  • L.M Stone will assess the job before starting, but no responsibility is accepted for pre-existing cracks, heat damage, or manufacturer defects.

7. On-Site Conditions

  • Clear access must be provided on the day of works.

  • Parking and site access must be available for tools and materials.

If access is unsafe or restricted, L.M Stone may need to reschedule or adjust pricing.

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Same-day cancellations may incur a call-out fee.

9. Warranty

  • All workmanship comes with a 2-year warranty.

  • Warranty does not cover:

    • general wear and tear

    • misuse or damage after completion

    • structural movement in cabinetry or building

    • existing or underlying stone weaknesses

    • heat damage, chemical damage, or impact chips after completion

10. Liability

  • L.M Stone is not liable for:

    • damage caused by existing structural issues

    • movement in cabinets, flooring, or walls

    • plumbing or electrical issues caused by third parties

    • changes to stone appearance due to age, moisture, or lighting

11. Photos & Marketing

  • Before-and-after job photos may be taken for quoting clarification and quality records.

  • Photos will only be used for marketing/social media with the client’s permission.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service with L.M Stone, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
