In many cases, yes. The existing stone, cutout location, required dimensions, cabinetry and appliance clearances must be assessed first to confirm that the modification can be completed safely.

A flush-mounted rebate may be possible depending on the stone thickness, condition and cooktop requirements. Please provide the appliance model and installation specifications so the correct rebate dimensions and suitability can be confirmed.

Services include sink and cooktop cutout enlargements, undermount sink alterations, tap-hole drilling, flush-mount rebates, stone trimming and other custom alterations. Each modification is assessed individually.

Cutting or altering installed stone always carries some risk, particularly around existing cutouts, joins, unsupported areas or previous damage. Controlled cutting methods are used to reduce this risk, and any concerns will be discussed before work begins.

L.M Stone uses an H-class vacuum with a grinder shroud, along with protective coverings and containment where required. This helps capture dust at the source and protect the surrounding cabinetry, appliances and work area.
